In the section of Papers we have three contributions:
Characterization of the cloud cover and its tendency when crossing the island of
Cuba, by Pérez, Álvarez, Aenlle and Bouza. This is a study of the frequency of cloud cover values and its tendency when moving across Cuba along a line conformed by three stations to the South, center and North of the central region. Another work is the
Calculation of the Solar Radiation starting from digitized sunshine recorder
charts, by Vigón, Campos, Borrajero and Peláez, with a new method for the estimation of solar radiation starting from digitally processed sunshine recorder charts in such a manner that a string of 0's and 1's is obtained indicating whether the chart is burnt or not at fixed time intervals. The floods by wave setup at the Havana mole with the current scenario and the foreseen one for a possible climate
change, makes a valuation of the behavior of the surf and the floods for reef of surf under the present conditions and those foreseen according to some scenarios of climatic change. |
