ABSTRACT

In this paper the meteorological conditions at differnet scales during significant droughts are studied, mainly in three regions of Cuba that are characterized by repeated rain deficits with the resulting economic and environmental impact. The results that were obtained prove that the atmosferic circulation conditions greatly show the characteristics of the rain deficit or excess in the areas that were studied.
