ABSTRACT.
The citrus fire constituted one cause of important loss in the "Victoria de Girón" enterprise of Matanzas. With a data set that encompessed from 1993 until 1997, the period november-april, and the information of the meteorologicals stations and the system of telemail pluviometeres, studied the general more behavior of the fire outbreak point of view that representated a additional tool for to elaborate a Plan of Protection against Fire. Its is also described the most commun the negative incidences of fires upon the environment.
